I’m a musician, actor, educator, writer, and photographer who has always been drawn to art that makes me feel something. Art that tells stories. Art that proves we were here.

Art Made From Being Alive is the culmination of all the things that keep me alive; the passions that fuel my day-to-day purpose and my desire to ignite the same spark in others. Whether through storytelling, teaching, performing, writing, or capturing a moment through my lens, I am interested in the same thing: connection. The moments, people, and stories that remind us what it means to be human.

I am one of those people who lives life in spontaneity, moving from place to place, unable to be kept still, drawn by a magnetic pull toward something bigger than myself. The only true constant throughout my life has been creativity. I was drawn to music and storytelling as early as I can remember. Fascinated by people and their stories, I quickly discovered that creativity was more than a passion; it was a language, and I was determined to learn every dialect of it.

My creative journey began at two years old (probably started brewing before then), learning piano and recording made-up songs into my mum's phone. Acting soon followed through school drama programs and stage productions, giving me new ways to tell stories and connect with people. Throughout high school, I trained in classical music before moving into music theatre, where I worked toward becoming a triple-threat performer and developed a deeper appreciation for the power of storytelling through performance. That curiosity never stopped expanding. Since then, I have written and directed short films, filled notebooks with poetry, worked on unpublished novels, and begun creating both a poetry collection and an original EP.

Each creative outlet has taught me something different, but all of them have led me back to the same place: a desire to understand people, preserve stories, and create meaningful connections. Creativity has always felt like a place of familiarity, purpose, and belonging; home.

At fourteen, I was given the opportunity to begin teaching young creatives under mentorship. What started as an opportunity became a calling. Seven years later, education remains my primary profession and one of the most rewarding parts of my life. After turning twenty-two this year, I realised that helping others discover their voice, confidence, and creativity is not simply something I enjoy, it is something I want to dedicate my life to. Alongside my creative pursuits, I am completing a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, with the hope of bringing that same passion into schools and classrooms.

Photography entered my life much later and almost by accident. As a performer who had received countless folders of images from gigs and productions, I became curious about what it would feel like to step off the stage and behind the camera. I wanted to know if I could capture artists and audiences the way I experienced them in the moment.

What began as a hobby quickly became something more. I discovered an eye for the fleeting moments: the expressions, energy, and split seconds that tell a story. I became fascinated not only by artists and musicians, but by anyone living a life worth remembering. People in love. People creating. People celebrating. People simply being.

What ties all of these creative outlets together, music, performance, teaching, writing, storytelling, and photography, is their ability to document life as it happens. They are all, in their own way, acts of preservation. Evidence of connection. Proof that we felt something, created something, shared something, and were here.

Because art, to me, is all of this, and it is made from simply being alive.
